2 Corinthians 2:14–15 declares, “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of Him everywhere. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.”
That’s the heartbeat of AROMA. God using ordinary people to release something extraordinary—a scent of revival that doesn’t fade when the lights go out.
It’s more than a moment. It’s a divine appointment where heaven fills the room, hearts are reignited, and the aroma of Christ begins to spread through a city.
PHASE ONE AROMA CAMPAIGN:
Two incredible properties in Grandview, Missouri, sitting on more than 38 acres of land (FORMER FORERUNNER CHURCH), have become available — spaces that could become the new home and hub of everything God is building through The City and our AROMA movement.
The first is a 52,000-square-foot facility on over six acres of land.
It includes a 1,400-seat sanctuary, offices, classrooms, and a substantial amount of parking.
It’s been beautifully maintained — new HVAC, new roof, new LED wall — completely move-in ready.
And, it even has a basketball court. This facility gives us what we’ve been praying for: a permanent home where our City Kids team no longer has to spend hours setting up and tearing down.
It’s a place with classrooms, play areas, and secure, fully equipped spaces designed for discipleship and family ministry from the moment people walk through the door.
Just a few blocks away is the second campus — over 30 acres of land with a full commercial kitchen, shower facilities, classrooms, offices, and a large auditorium.
This site will become the home for local outreach, our School of Ministry and Leadership Training — the base for City U and the AROMA Network, where future pastors, leaders, and world changers can be equipped and sent into the world.
This is a redemptive moment.
Because the very spaces the enemy once tried to destroy, God is now positioning His people to redeem — to bring purpose, and power back into places that were always meant for His glory.
This opportunity will require faith.
It will require sacrifice.
And it will require all of us.
We’re believing to raise an initial $2,000,000 by December 15th, 2025.
AROMA is a movement. It’s the expression of lives so filled with His presence that they carry His fragrance everywhere they go.
Rooted in 2 Corinthians 2:14–15, AROMA is our call to multiply healthy leaders, build healthy churches, and see cities transformed.
It’s the spirit, sound, and strategy of revival — not something we chase, but something we carry.

The AROMA Campaign is our bold, faith-filled initiative to expand the reach of The City KC — to make room for what God is doing and prepare for what’s next. It’s more than a building project — it’s a movement mandate. Through this campaign, we’re securing land, launching campuses, and creating spaces for revival, discipleship, and city transformation.
The AROMA Campaign is how we turn vision into reality — by building a house big enough for generations to encounter Jesus, discover purpose, and spread His fragrance across Kansas City and beyond.
It’s not just about raising money. We are also raising capacity — for Jesus to change everything, everywhere.
